Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure packages are not damaged during transit.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues, reporting any problems immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery times, routes, and mileage as required by company policy.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving standards.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information and GPS navigation.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adhere to a strict schedule.
