Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on designated delivery routes throughout Miami and surrounding areas.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo, ensuring compliance with weight distribution and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
