Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any defects.
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight safely and on time to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling as required by the freight type.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and driver logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and logistics teams regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized during and after shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Class A preferred for most roles).
- Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or serious accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
