Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand tools, forklifts, or pallet jacks as required.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT medical card.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred but not mandatory for Class B.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
