Responsibilities
- Operate Box Truck in a safe and professional manner at all times.
- Load and unload freight efficiently to maintain delivery schedules.
- Ensure all cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Complete daily logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) reports accurately.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical readiness.
- Maintain a clean and professional image while interacting with clients and dispatchers.
- Handle paperwork, bills of lading, and delivery receipts accurately.
Qualifications
- Must own and operate a Class A or Class B Box Truck (Power Unit).
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Proof of current liability and cargo insurance coverage.
- Ability to lift and handle freight up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
