Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while following safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and route optimization guidelines
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance documentation
- Support warehouse operations when between routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California traffic laws and routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
