Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within Texas
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and logistics software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and provide employment references
