Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Washington state
- Load/unload cargo with precision using pallet jacks and forklift certification
- Maintain daily inspection reports and DOT compliance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient delivery scheduling and route optimization
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Operate in all weather conditions with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Complete electronic logging system (ELD) entries accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficient with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Washington state highway regulations
