Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods between Michigan and Georgia
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper lifting techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Operate in various weather conditions while maintaining schedules
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain CDL-A/CDL-B (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- No prior CDL experience required (entry-level welcome)
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
