Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and delays
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with exceptional punctuality
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to pass mandatory background/drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of regional highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
