Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for freight transport across Texas and regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate shipment documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Houston metro area and Texas highway systems
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement techniques
