Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul routes across Florida and Southeastern states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Document trip logs, fuel receipts, and delivery documentation accurately
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route changes, delays, or incidents
- Maintain professional customer service during delivery interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance evaluations
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required
- Minimum 1 year driving experience preferred (entry-level candidates accepted)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- Willingness to travel overnight for multi-state routes
