Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A & B) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and daily logs (DVIR).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and road safety practices.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting on the road.
