Responsibilities
- Operate heavy dump trucks to transport materials (sand, gravel, asphalt) to and from job sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Secure loads properly and ensure timely delivery within established timeframes.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle mileage.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current and valid DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks in a construction or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Glendale, AZ area and surrounding regions.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
