Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently during night shifts.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding driving hours and cargo handling.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (Hazmat/Tanker preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
