Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals between healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control and chain-of-custody protocols for sensitive materials
- Document all deliveries and maintain accurate electronic logs using our tracking system
- Coordinate with hospital staff, labs, and clinics for timely pickups and deliveries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness of medical transport equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and all medical transport safety standards
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch and receiving facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical or specimen transport preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate medical facility layouts
- Strong time management skills with punctuality as a core value
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical handling protocols
- Proficient with smartphone apps and basic GPS navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening (medical industry standard)
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance (or willingness to use company vehicle)
