Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and supplies in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain of custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain organized cargo compartments
- Provide real-time tracking updates and resolve delivery exceptions proactively
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and biohazard handling procedures
- Complete daily route optimization to minimize transit time
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Flexibility to work weekends and early morning/late night hours
