Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, pharmaceuticals, and sensitive healthcare materials between facilities
- Maintain precise delivery documentation and chain-of-custody records
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and biohazard safety standards
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure time-sensitive deliveries are prioritized
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain clean, organized transport equipment
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate medical transport equipment
- Strong time management with attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling and biohazard protocols
- Proficient in using mobile technology for route tracking and documentation
