Responsibilities
- Safe Transport: Safely transport medical specimens, blood samples, documents, and medical equipment between medical facilities in the Tampa area.
- Compliance Adherence: Strictly follow HIPAA regulations, OSHA safety standards, and company protocols to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is clean, operational, and secure before and after each route.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery (POD) signatures and electronic logs.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with hospital staff, lab technicians, and clients to ensure a seamless delivery experience.
Qualifications
- License & Record: Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and dependability in previous work history.
- Background Check: Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
