Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment between healthcare facilities with strict adherence to temperature control protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic tracking for all deliveries
- Coordinate with hospital staff, labs, and pharmacies to ensure seamless handoffs
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain cleanliness of transport equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard handling procedures
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while maintaining client confidentiality
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with professionalism and urgency
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical transport certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate healthcare facility layouts
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with medical specimen handling or healthcare logistics
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
