Responsibilities
- Securely transport medical specimens, lab samples, pharmaceuticals, and medical equipment between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain strict temperature-controlled environments for sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and chain-of-custody procedures for all medical transports
- Utilize GPS routing systems for efficient, time-sensitive deliveries across Baltimore metro area
- Document and verify all transfers using digital tracking systems and electronic manifests
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness of transport vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners during critical delivery processes
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical transport or healthcare logistics preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and biohazard handling procedures
