Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals
- Maintain strict temperature-controlled environments during transit
- Complete accurate delivery documentation using our proprietary mobile app
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data security
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with urgency and precision
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Medical courier or healthcare logistics experience preferred
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional time management and route optimization skills
- Strong attention to detail with zero-tolerance for errors
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficient with mobile technology and GPS navigation
- Background check and drug screening required
