Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, documents, and lab samples safely and securely to various medical facilities in the San Antonio area.
- Maintain strict adherence to temperature control protocols for cold-chain deliveries (e.g., vaccines, blood products).
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including COVID-19 guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Verify and document delivery details, including time of delivery and recipient signatures, using handheld scanners.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure the courier vehicle is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Communicate effectively with internal dispatchers and external healthcare partners to resolve delivery issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major infractions).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate San Antonio traffic efficiently.
- Basic computer literacy for using handheld scanning devices.
- Physically fit to load and unload packages and stand for extended periods.
