As a Medical Courier, you will play a critical role in connecting medical facilities and ensuring patient care is never delayed. Your work directly impacts the lives of those in our community.
Responsibilities
- Transport time-sensitive medical specimens, lab results, and equipment to and from medical facilities, laboratories, and hospitals in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain a spotless and professional vehicle interior, ensuring full compliance with all sanitation and health safety regulations.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving standards to ensure passenger and cargo safety.
- Complete accurate daily logs, mileage reports, and delivery receipts using company-provided handheld devices or tablets.
- Handle sensitive patient information and medical data with the highest level of confidentiality and privacy compliance.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is road-ready at all times.
- Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, to meet the 24/7 needs of the medical community.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or serious traffic violations).
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in medical logistics, courier services, or healthcare transport is highly preferred but not always required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize deliveries based on urgency and location.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging delivery data and tracking.
- Physically capable of lifting medical packages and standing for extended periods during delivery runs.
