Responsibilities
- Safe Transport: Safely and efficiently transport medical specimens, documents, and equipment to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories within the Pittsburgh area.
- Integrity Maintenance: Ensure the temperature and integrity of sensitive medical specimens are maintained throughout the delivery process.
- Vehicle Care: Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Record Keeping: Accurately complete daily logs, mileage reports, and delivery receipts.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with medical staff and dispatch.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License required with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Vehicle Access: Must have access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for commercial use.
