Responsibilities
- Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently to ensure timely arrivals at designated locations.
- Handle packages with extreme care, ensuring they are secure and not damaged during transit.
- Interact professionally with clients, accepting packages and confirming successful deliveries.
- Utilize GPS and mobile delivery apps to optimize routes and manage time effectively.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (tire pressure, fluid levels) and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B preferred) with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a professional setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of the Colorado Springs geography, major highways, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and handle deliveries in various weather conditions.
