Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport loose materials such as soil, rock, sand, and gravel to construction sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload materials efficiently using forklifts, skid steers, or manual methods.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, mileage records, and delivery receipts.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding route changes and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy dump trucks.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with local Fort Worth roads and construction zones.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads and working in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
