Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy dump trucks to transport construction materials, including dirt, gravel, and asphalt, to job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and fuel records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Navigate Arlington and surrounding areas using GPS and road maps to meet tight deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding load status and delivery times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license with Tanker endorsement preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks or heavy equipment.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, climb in and out of the cab frequently, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
