Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service (HOS) documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and cargo status.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (State of Oklahoma required).
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations within the last 3-5 years.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional weekends if necessary.
