Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks over long distances (Over-The-Road) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records, including electronic logs (ELD), mileage, and delivery documentation.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable OTR (Over-The-Road) driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
