Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to deliver freight on time and damage-free.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and document any issues.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Clear MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam to obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.
- Basic math skills for scale and weight calculations.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
