Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on designated routes in and around Houston, TX.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring securement per load requirements.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold a professional image at all times while representing LogiTrans Logistics.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) and overnight shifts.
- Basic computer literacy for log entry and communication.
