Job Overview
As a CDL Driver for our San Diego terminal, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the state. We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious professionals who take pride in their work.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to company policies, traffic laws, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience in flatbed, tanker, or dry van operations is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
