The Role
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time. You will manage your own delivery route and interact directly with clients, making your role vital to our daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and accounted for.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain necessary signatures from recipients.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery issues professionally.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of local geography in the Sacramento and Northern California area.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
