Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated residential and commercial addresses in the Houston area.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all orders while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any delivery issues or complaints promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle mileage for payroll and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of the Houston, TX area geography is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must have reliable personal transportation to get to and from work.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adhere to a uniform policy.
