Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on local and regional routes within Florida.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) while ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience (commercial preferred).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic logging and communication.
