Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles
- Maintain detailed DOT-compliant logs
- Pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with precision
- Communicate with dispatch in real-time
- Implement defensive driving practices
- Complete paperwork accurately
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A/B license
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations)
- Pass DOT physical & drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Knowledge of NC regulations
- Strong time management skills
- Basic navigation abilities
