Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure accident-free operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
