Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy dump trucks and hauling equipment on various job sites throughout Raleigh and the surrounding areas.
- Load and unload dirt, gravel, sand, and construction debris using skid steers, forklifts, and manual labor as required.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized cab and adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site supervisors to coordinate schedules and report any mechanical issues.
- Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and maintain high productivity rates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B is preferred; Class B with experience is a plus.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the physical stamina to perform manual loading tasks.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
- Must be 21 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness to undergo our paid training program to obtain necessary certifications.
