Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) over long distances in adherence to DOT regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and driver's logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred but training available for qualified candidates).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and a background check.
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored paid training program.
