Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate your own box truck to deliver goods to designated locations within the Los Angeles area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify any maintenance needs.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Manage all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and mileage logs.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold the company's brand standards at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in box truck or delivery driving.
- Proven track record of safe driving and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Reliable, well-maintained box truck (13' to 26' range) with valid registration and insurance.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Ability to pass a standard background check.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
