Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently in varying weather and road conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA and company safety standards.
- Secure cargo properly and perform load/unload duties as required.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic logging devices (ELD) and manage all delivery paperwork.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules, delays, or route adjustments.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and fleet maintenance updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
