Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within San Jose Bay Area
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip safety checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage delivery routes while maintaining punctuality
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Document mileage, delivery confirmations, and incident reports
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic computer literacy for ELD and tracking systems
