Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Adhere to all FMCSA and DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) on file.
- Clean driving record with no recent serious violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safety procedures.
