Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) across California routes
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and electronic logging compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Deliver freight punctually while adhering to DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning
- Represent Valley Transport Solutions with professional conduct
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- TWIC card preferred for port access
