Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A or Class B trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, securing freight to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
- Keep the truck cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Must have endorsements if required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor tasks.
- Strong English communication skills.
