Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe, legal, and courteous manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using lifting equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (BOL, manifests).
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must have a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends if required.
