Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and adhere to all FMCSA regulations
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to minimize fuel consumption and maximize efficiency
- Document delivery receipts and handle paperwork accurately
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area roadways and delivery protocols
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
