Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry vans, reefers, flatbeds) across regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Complete electronic logging system (ELD) documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Washington state and Pacific Northwest regulations
