Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in and around the Boston metropolitan area.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo safety and integrity.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs (DVIR) and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Navigate traffic and delivery routes in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT card).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial truck driving is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting and handling cargo.
